I was in Walmart today (the Super Center in Anchorage) and noticed that the frozen Sara Lee pies are $1 right now. What’s even better? You can go here for a $1/1 coupon making them free! They had mincemeat, apple, and pumpkin.
Yum! Unfortunately my 2 year old thought it looked a bit too delicious and was quite distraught when I had to explain they’re frozen and we’ll have to cook them for about an hour before eating!

Here is the thing that bugs me about Walmart (well, one of the many) and why we don't post their deals very often. The items they carry and they amount they charge varies greatly amongst their stores- even ones that are just across town. The South Anchorage Walmart is the only one in this area that has these for $1. I have checked two other locations. However, people in other parts of the country have found these pies at their Super Walmarts for $1-$1.75. Unfortunately it is just hit and miss. Would I go to Walmart just for this deal? No, because you never know if they will have it. But I will definitely take my coupons along in case they do!

Our Walmart doesn't carry pies I checked three different ones and none of them carry the pies only the pound cake Am I missing something here because I would love to have these.
I went there today and they are $1.75. Still a good deal, but not free.
