Lets Talk About Target Coupons…

much as it pains me, I suppose we should talk about the new Target printable coupons setup.  If you’ve been to Target’s website anytime recently you’re probably noticed it looks a little different.  Instead of just a page or two of coupons, now they have coupons in all different categories available via links on the left.

On first glance this would seem like a good thing… right?

Two negatives though.  First of all, you can no longer print as many as you want.  Target now has a coupon driver too, that only allows you to print 2 copies.  Sad, but not horrible.  Target has had an extra generous policy on their store coupons forever, now they’re just falling inline with how most places do it.  We can handle that (although we’re sad!).

Second negative?  Not all of the coupons on their site at Target coupons.  Some of them are manufacturer coupons.  You can’t tell which until after you print them.

And, I’ll throw in a third “gotcha” that you need to be aware of.  You can’t tell from the site which coupons you’ve already printed.  So if you try to print them again (because you can’t remember you already did) you will get a coupon printed that says in it “you’ve reached your print limit” – which could be a big waste of paper if you’re not careful!

We, of course, will let you know which coupons are Target coupons when we do our weekly matchup.  But if you’re printing other coupons on your own you should be aware of this info!

So, there you have it.  We’re not sure what’s going to happen with the Target coupon generators like hotcouponworld or afullcup.  They were in place to provide a site which had all the currently available Target coupons.  But now that Target is using print limits we may not seem them showing up on those sites.
