How do Giveaways "Work"?!

Because we've had some different questions in the past week, since we're in the middle of a giveaway blitz!

Question:  How do I enter your giveaways?

Answer: You leave a comment on the giveaway post.  If you go to the end of the post, where we list the giveaway, you'll see a "comment" link.  You click on it, and then leave a comment.  We always detail in our post different types of ways to earn entries.  There is normally a "gimme", which just involves answering our question of the day or checking out the site sponsoring the giveaway.  Then you can earn extra entries for getting our email, being our fan, etc...

Question: Should I leave seperate comments for each thing I do?

Answer: Yes!  Please do!  See the next question which details how we choose a winner.  If you do 4 of the 6 things we have listed, we need 4 separate comments in order to give you 4 entries.  It keeps it nice and simple when it comes to drawing a winner.

Question: How do we choose a winner?

Answer: We look at how many comments are left on the giveaway (each one has a number next to it).  Each one is considered an entry.  We use www.random.org, tell it how many entries we had, and it gives us a number back.  We go back to see which comment is labeled with that number, and have our winner!
