Exclusive ADN deal for our readers!

After months of work and phone calls we have worked out a deal with the Anchorage Daily News to get our readers a great deal on a subscription:

If you live in the Anchorage area you can get a 7 day subscription plus an additional Sunday paper for $4.01/ week. We went this route because we highly recommend that our readers get a minimum of two Sunday papers from the ADN for coupon inserts and to have access to stores’ weekly ads. We also think that it is wise for our readers to get the paper 7 days a week so that you can access ads and special coupons (especially from Fred Meyer and local businesses) that come out midweek. The added advantage to having copies of all the ads at your home is that you can then more easily price match items at different stores without having to go out and pick up an ad or drive across town to buy that one cheap item. Instead you can go to a closer store that will price match another store’s ad (I would go to Target to get my Toys R Us deals because Target is much closer).

We realize that there are often new subscription deals where you can get the paper cheaper but those are limited time deals and once your trial period ends, they will charge you the regular rate.
