We had a reader write in (I only have her screen name!) and let me know about the Tag Leap Frog books being on sale at Target this week (I swear I have been watching for this sale like a hawk yet I missed it!).
We had previously posted about a bunch of Leap Frog toy coupons ($4 off each book) that you can get here which makes these books $6 a piece!
So lucky for my I got 3 Tag systems at Target (for my daughter and nephew for presents) for $2.48 a piece and now I should be able to get several books for $6 each! This is an amazing deal and makes for some wonderful yet very cheap Christmas presents!
Thanks “akuttrich” for showing me the sale!
Note:
There is also a $3 off coupon here but that one you can only print twice. The ones from above can be printed and used as many times as you want, so stick with the $4 coupon!

I finally found a Tag set last night. They were there a couple weeks ago, but I didn't have the coupons on me. Stupid me. There was one left on the shelf marked at $24.48. I scanned it and it didn't come up. So I asked the guy at the electronics counter. He tried to scan it, but it wanted him to enter a price. So he calls a manager. He already knew they'ed been $12.48, so he was prepared to use that price. Manager told him to go ahead, so he did and accepted my $10 coupon with no problem. So I got one! Yay! My youngest's birthday is Nov. 9th and he'll be 7, so this will be for him.
I also made a killing on Schick razors, Cesar dog food and treats, Friskie cat treats, poptarts and Bounce dryer bars. I love Target.
I got 3 books at Target last night with no problems. Didn't know about the Nat Geo cards. Are they with the books? Will look for those.
Crystal – good luck at Target, hopefully kid free! kids are fun to shop with sometimes, aren't they?!
Ok, so after taking the 3 kids to Toys R Us today, the deal is better at Target. Toys R Us in AK has horrible prices and doesn't honor anything online. And aren't completely nice either. It could have just been me with 3 kids in the store though. Going to Target without them I hope tonight.
The TAG books actually end up being a better deal at Toys R Us this week. They are Buy 2 get 1 free and you can use the coupons there also. So it works out to be better by at least $4 if not more depending on if they let you use a coupon on the "free" book also. Awesome deals!!!
Oh, and the coupons will also work on the National Geographic Activity Cards for the TAG. Making them an even better deal. YAY!
